The Power of Prayer

Youth and adults have the opportunity to participate in our first virtual retreat! Fr. Lease will start us off with Mass on Friday evening. Saturday events include opening remarks from Bishop Gainer, training cells, recitation of the Rosary and a (fingers crossed) virtual closing campfire program!

Our keynote speaker for youth is Christopher Wood, youth minister, who will help develop an understanding of the power of prayer and explore ways to effectively pray in everyday life.
Saturday afternoon youth sessions include "Heart Speaks to Heart - Discerning the Father's Voice" with Fr. Sawicki, and two patch workshops: the Joyful Mysteries Rosary Patch and the Saint George Patch.

Adults have the opportunity to take these training sessions on Saturday: Ad Altare Dei Counselor Training, Pope Pius XII Moderator Training, and Scouter Development Training. Our Annual DCCS Committee Meeting is open to all adults on Saturday at 2:30pm.

Saturday afternoon we'll bring youth and adults together to pray the Rosary. Tentatively, we hope to include Saturday evening Mass and a virtual closing campfire.
